    The vandals have figured out that they can blank their contributions by commenting "pedophile" while vandalizing people's pages. If sysops have no way around the filter, then the filter is a tool for vandals. The vandals are determined to bring the system down and they're quite persistent. Don't give them extra tools to work with.
